The Project

The Project

EnviroSolution were appointed by Jaguar Land Rover to undertake a combined geo-environmental site investigation to inform development plans for a new extension to an existing production facility. The work was commissioned to satisfy the planning authority and provide information for foundation design.

The Challenge

The Challenge

A large active industrial site required detailed investigation while maintaining strict health, safety and environmental controls so production and programme impacts were minimised.

The Solution

The Solution

EnviroSolution designed, project managed and supervised a detailed Phase 2 Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Site Investigation. The scope included RAMS, site induction, toolbox talks, window sample drilling, concrete coring, cable percussive drilling, foundation pitting, CBR testing, cone penetration testing, rotary drilling, groundwater and ground gas monitoring wells and a three-month monitoring programme.

The Benefit

The Benefit

EnviroSolution mobilised within one week, met the deadline and issued preliminary factual information within one week of completion to support preparatory foundation design. Waste classification also helped inform groundworks costings.
